 The church supports the local homeless project, collecting things to make up starter packs so that complete packs can be given to the homeless when they are first given a house. The starter packs contain items such as cutlery, cups, pans, plates, towels etc. We take a turn with other churches in the area and concentrate for a month to get the congregation to bring in as few or as many objects as they can manage, Once everything is brought the boxes are then made up to make complete starter packs. We don’t only collect during a set month but we collect things all year round.
