This month we are reflecting in worship about what it really means for us to follow Jesus…the rich young man was asked to sell everything…is there something in your life that you would hate to be parted from? Imagine Jesus asked you to give it away…

We take a vow to give fittingly of our money to the work of the Church…do we give fittingly?  What else do we spend our money on? How attached are we to our belongings?  Take time to reflect on your income and outgoings…what is it that God wants you to do?

Pray for those who are homeless in our society, those who live on the breadline. Pray for the poor of the world…do you remember the faces on the video last year of the young people in Malawi receiving their school bags from Mary’s Meals?  Give thanks for the basic essentials in life that we all too often take for granted.
